Junior Technician
Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on mechanical/electrical technician that can help with all aspects
of building and troubleshooting automation systems.
The successful candidate will be using their mechanical skills to manufacture and assemble the system, bring
their electrical skills to install and wire the sensors and then use their diagnostic skills to troubleshoot the system.
Teamwork is crucial to success, so communication is key. Daily and weekly huddles with fellow fabricators, the
engineers and the operations manager will keep projects moving forward and allows us to anticipate any roadblocks.
This posting is open to all levels of experience and skillset. Apex will support the successful applicant with mentorship,
training, & development. We are also supportive of employees who are interested in red seal certification with tuition support.

Senior Mechanical Fabricator
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced mechanical fabricator/assembler that will take a leadership role in our organization.
The successful candidate will use their mechanical skills to weld, fabricate and assemble our automation systems.

Operations Coordinator
Job Description
We want strong team players who creatively find solutions to meet the challenges of a dynamic engineering and
manufacturing work environment. The successful applicant will be an integral part of the Operations team
responsible for managing / developing the inventory system and manufacturing processes to support the
company’s exciting growth trajectory.
A strong track record of upwards career growth in manufacturing and production environments is a must.
Expertise in reading engineering drawings and understanding metal material properties is required.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years’ experience in production environments; preferably in more than one setting
- Strong knowledge of various manufacturing / production / inventory systems
- Experienced ERP system user in production management role
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings, including GD&T
- Strong knowledge of metal material properties
- Working knowledge of machining, welding and forming processes
- Hands on abilities with basic shop tools
- Knowledge in industrial automation including machine vision, sensors and actuators is
desirable, but not required - Hands-on approach and can-do attitude
- Must be able to travel internationally
What You’ll Do:
- Be an important contributor to developing Apex’s inventory management system and
manufacturing processes to support company growth - Incoming parts receiving and inventory location assignment / placement
- Incoming quality inspection control for critical components. Feedback to vendors and issue
and track corrective actions where required to establish quality - Managing Manufacturing Order priorities and coordinating production by picking/staging
parts for Fabrication and Assembly teams along with necessary drawings and/or assembly
instructions - Daily interaction with the assembly team during the build phase
- Troubleshoot and triage part non-conformances/shortages as they occur on the shop floor
- Assist the assembly team with hands-on support where required
- Final quality review of assembled product before shipping
- Coordinate / track final assembly shipping
- Assist in productionizing Apex’s products by reviewing BOMs for part and quantity accuracy
and revising structure for ease of procurement and manufacture - Occasional travel to customer location to support complex installations and commissioning activities
